Title: Journeyman Geospatial Analyst (GA)

Status: Full Time / Exempt

Location: Beale AFB, CA & Langley AFB, VA

Job Summary:The Journeyman Geospatial Analyst (GA) supports the AF PED Enterprise by analyzing information from ground and manned/unmanned airborne ISR collection platforms. Supports the dissemination process with reporting and editing products. Maintains currency and mission readiness with applicable requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Analyzes high altitude imagery and FMV content
  • Gathers, collates, analyzes, fuses, and reports on ISR activity
  • Uses proper tools, systems, tactics, techniques and procedures to satisfy requirements
  • Leverages geospatial information systems techniques and proper theory, procedures, and technology to produce products
  • Collaborates with government and military geospatial analysts and other crew members
  • Supports requirements spanning full spectrum of conflict in all CCMDs
  • Develops ISR training materials and provides OJT training, as required
  • Delivers a monthly status report detailing accomplishments and issues

Requirements

  • Three (3) to ten (10) years’ experience in Imagery/GA ISR analyst function
  • Ability to maintain minimum unit/crew qualification ratings (e.g. FMV PED, FMV, FMV training, etc), as required
  • Experience with high altitude platforms
  • Graduate of U.S. imagery/GA course, e.g. 1N1A
  • Ability to work shifts, as required
  • Ability to multi-task, work with a team and follow procedures
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Active TS/SCI government security clearance
  • Ability to read, write and speak English

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree (experience may be substituted on a 1 for 1 basis)
